Hire Ukrainian Designers is a volunteer initiative led by a team of USA and Ukraine-based architects who have created pathways to help Ukrainian design professionals - in the fields of architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, interior design, furniture design and visualization - find work opportunities with firms worldwide.

Remote work opportunities provided by firms like yours create a critical and urgent lifeline for those whose livelihood has been jeopardized by war.

WHY HIRE UKRAINIAN DESIGNERS?

The Russian war in Ukraine has been ongoing and escalating for nearly a year. It has left nearly half the country in devastation. Nearly all design professionals in Ukraine are currently without work. There are no developers, government agencies, or individuals investing either in new work or completing existing projects. Significant numbers of Ukrainian design professionals have been displaced from their homes and find themselves in uncertain conditions.

With Hire Ukrainian Designers, architecture, design, engineering and construction firms across the United States can provide help by offering remote, freelance work to Ukrainian designers.

Our grassroots initiative interviews all Ukrainian applicants to verify skill sets, availability and English proficiency. For firms, we make introductions and provide hiring, IT, and accounting logistical consultation.

The process is quick, simple, and has been vetted by attorneys.

Our team serves as your point of contact to help make the direct introductions to candidates and will provide your firm with a curated list of candidates to suite your job needs.

Our volunteers provide the service of pre-screening every applicant to verify availability, skills and experience, and English proficiency. We will provide your office assistance through the process by providing a consultant agreement template; assisting with the on-boarding process; helping with remote-work software; arranging consultations and support.
